Two days ago my feeding therapist showed me a picture of mushroom coral. It does nothing, just stays with its family. Its pretty and just sticks on to the coral reef. It is used for great sunscreen. People who don’t have sunscreen use mushroom coral. When you pick it off the coral and look at the bottom you can see slime that is perfect for sunscreen (protects you from the sun so you don’t get sun burn).
They can also take a walk around the ocean like mamma goes out for a walk on the road. By the way did you know that mushroom coral is an animal. Unlike sea weeds, corals can walk. Even corals are animals. I wonder what happens to a mushroom coral if it is slow to walk and a predator comes fast chasing it. I worry predators might chase them for their slime. Large mushroom corals can eat anything in the water like even small tiny baby shrimp.
